We dive around Kalymnos and the small islands around, such as Nera, Telendos, Plati, and Pserimos which
are full of flore, fish, caverns, caves, walls, reefs, wrecks, volcanos, and rare species.
All these in crystal clear warm water with a visibility of over 30 meters.
PEGASUS Diving Center is probably a unique case worldwide for its characteristics and history. It consists of a traditional sponge diving boat and an auxiliary rubber boat.The type "Achtarmas" traditional sponge diving boat ttraveled from Kalymnos to Cyprus, Egypt, Italy, Tunisia, Libya and all Gree seas, acommodationg 14 People (captain, divers and auxiliary crew).
Since 1994 it was turned into a scuba diving boat and a training boat for professional divers. It is equipped both with scuba diving equipment and air compressor for professional divers diving with the "nargile", "fernez" and "helmet" sponge diving system.
